Eva Fwamba

Eva was brought on staff as the house mother in July of 2007.

She comes very well trained: she has gone to school for nursing, tailoring, and was previously a hired teacher for home-schooled kids from 4th grade through 12th grade. She is also nearing completion of a two year Bible Training certificate from the Pastor’s Training School in Kibera. She is doing a great job in such a hard position.

CuCu

pronunciation: /sho sho/

Cucu came to live at the house in 2007.

Kenyan culture is centered around the older generations. Often grandparents will live with children or close by. They play a big role in raising the kids and teaching them the ways of the tribe. They are also viewed as spiritual leaders in the family. We are excited to be able to continue this tradition at the AIM House.
